Time is drawing closer to our mission trip. Only two and a half months away now. Still a lot of prepping, preparing mentally, and fundraising/donations needed, but I know God will look after all of us & we will come through. We held a car wash this last Saturday 6/11 at the Chik Fil A at Barrett Parkway & Dallas Hwy to raise more funds for the trip. This was my 1st year participating in the car wash. It turned out to be a beautiful 95 degree hot & sunny day. In the years past, I was told it always seemed to rain on that chosen day. I was so very thankful we ended up with such a beautiful day. Although we found out shortly after we got set up that we had some "competition" a block away at the Burger King, the cars started rolling in. It seemed we didn't have a lot of down time from start to finish and by the end of the day we ended up raising almost $700! Although we had a good day, we still are short of our goal, so please keep the prayers and donations coming. I am so very thankful for being a part of One Step In Faith, love everyone on the board & team & look forward to what comes ahead.
